We're Back!
By Smoke
Published: November 16, 2008

Ok so we're back up and running... with a different forum system.

It'll take some getting used to, and I'm sure I have to change some settings still, so bare with me. But everything should work, including your old login/password.

The only thing that's gone permanently are the forum attachments, avatars and signatures. But that's no biggie. I was more concerned with logins and posts. So we're good!

Please post your thoughts on the new system in this thread. Good or bad.

More US Wheels
By Smoke
Published: November 2, 2008

Told you there'd be more from USW... 'cept I wasn't really planning on doing this tonight.

I couldn't sleep though, so here ya go - new "Stiletto" rims.
The rims are set up as 22"s so the tires had to be modifed as well.

I can't say they're real good with names, but the rims look cool. lol

Something Extravagant...
By Smoke
Published: November 1, 2008

New wheels!

USW Forged "Extravagant" rims this tim around. There will be more from them soon.

I also updated the Charger model so it uses the daylight system in Max 2009. There's a bunch of renders using the daylight system here.
So to those who already purchased the model, PM me and I'll set you up with the new file. The system wouldn't let me update a 16MB file, so I had to add it as a new one...

I Challenger (har har) You To Find Better Rims
By Smoke
Published: October 25, 2008

Hooray! Something new!

I made these last night for someone (no, I'm not working on the Challenger just yet...). So I wanted to share.

I wish they didnt' charge so much for OEM rims... I'd get a set of these for my Charger.
Heck, Dodge wants $400 just for a rim like the ones I have... and they suck!

New Users

Sorry to all new registrants, but I'll have to start manually accepting new users again. We're getting back to the point where "fake" users are registering and spamming other members or posting some BS porn stuff.

So please use a valid email (preferably a carrier which is well-known) when registering, or you will not be allowed membership. I never use/share the emails other than to send birthday wishes and thank you's if you purchase something. So don't worry about ever having your address shared.

And a note to current members, if you receive private messages which appear to be spam, please forward the msg to me and I'll take care of it.

For anyone who visits/uses deviantART, I just had one of my Charger renders featured in a "best of" article. It may not be much to some people, but man I'm happy about it!

Check it out. <Click Here>

I just noticed that I didn't have my ignition set model on here anymore... I guess I forgot to add it after I updated the website...

Well it's up now... lol

Charger for MAX 9
By Smoke
Published: August 24, 2008

The Dodge Charger model is now available for 3D Studio Max 9, as well as 2009 (previously, it was for 2009 only).

It will not be included with the downloaded file though as it stands alone at 16MB, so please let me know if you need it after purchasing the 2009 model and I'll get it to you as quick as I can.

Charge!!

Well she's finally available. I finished my Dodge Charger body and a whole whack of addons and have posted it in the download section. It can be yours for $125, and when you compare to what else is out there for Charger models, I don't think the choice will be hard.

I've posted a detailed thread about it in the forums for anyone who has any questions about the model. Poly counts and detailed renders are there.

Thanks all for showing a serious interest in this one. I'm very proud of how it turned out.

And I'll be adding more body parts/addons for it in the near future.

This model is not for commercial use (that includes advertising as well).
If you would like to use the car for advertising/commercial purposes, please contact me.

More Foose Rims

Since they're pretty similar to the regular Nitrous rims, I figured I'd make the Legend version too.
